Lamar County is home to several great public and private schools.
Paris Independent School District
The PISD service area is primarily located within the city limits of Paris. The district includes; Paris High School, Paris Junior High School, Crockett Intermediate School, Aikin and Justiss Elementary Schools, Givens Early Childhood Center, Lamar County Headstart, and the Travis High School of Choice.
North Lamar Independent School District
The NLISD covers the majority of the northern portion of Lamar County. The district includes; North Lamar High School, Frank Stone Middle School, Geneva Bailey Intermediate School, and Aaron Parker, Cecil Everett, and W.L. Higgins elementary schools.
Chisum Independent School District
Chisum Independent School District has a service area covering the southcentral and southwest portions of Lamar County and extends into a portion of Delta County to the south. Communities located in Chisum ISD include Roxton, Brookston, Petty, Lake Creek, and others.
Prairiland Independent School District
Prairiland ISD has elementary campuses in Blossom and Deport, and Junior High and High School campuses in Pattonville. The district service area is generally the eastern portions of Lamar County.
Trinity Christian Academy
Trinity Christian Academy is a private, accredited, non-denominational Christian school with classes for Pre-school through 12th grade. The campus is located at 2060 FM 79, just north of Loop 286.
Central Presbyterian Preschool and Kindergarten
Enrollment eligibility for Central Presbyterian Day School is for children in preschool (3 year olds), pre-kindergarten (4 year olds), kindergarten and for a mommy and me course for 2 year olds.
